Using fibers for paving
Fiber-reinforced concrete is used for a wide variety of applications in building, roadworks and urban development, and is also cast in situ for agricultural, industrial and commercial paving.
They increase the tensile strength, wear resistance and ductility of concrete by improving its behavior under various types of stress, such as bending, compression and abrasion.
Fibers can simplify the manufacturing process, by eliminating or reducing the need for conventional reinforcement, or by using a hybrid reinforcement-fiber solution.
